Join ClayHouston, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and  former HCCC resident artist Zoe Gross for an afternoon of conversation that digs deep into the ceramic artist’s creative and technical process. Zoe will begin with an artist talk exploring her artistic inspiration, her graduate work at the Rhode Island School of Design, and her experience as a resident artist and arts educator. Following her talk, Zoe will demonstrate her building process, covering advanced coil construction and textural surface design. During the demonstration, participants will be encouraged to ask questions regarding their own work. The artist talk will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a demonstration at 12:30 PM. Pre-registration is required for this event.
