Austin artist Barbara Irwin began creating unique welded-steel and found-object flowers just over two years ago, at Austin Community College, and hasn’t looked back since. Sprouting up in the Craft Garden, each flower is whimsical, combining welded steel and found metal objects, like old car parts and household items.
